Empowering your financial health with more payment choices

With more choices comes more freedom to do what’s right for your budget, make ends meet and stay on track. That’s why we’re proud to offer more choices to connect debit cards or bank accounts in the app. Whether you prefer using your backup debit card, extra bank account or even a Chime account as a payment method, we’ve got your back. Some accounts can be linked with Plaid, but not every account, so you now have the option to manually type in your account numbers to add a payment method.

Why we added new payment method options into the Possible app

At Possible, your financial health is our number one priority. It’s our mission to break the cycle of debt—and as a Public Benefit Corporation, it’s our responsibility to provide tools that benefit your overall financial wellbeing. To achieve this goal, we’re constantly striving to provide you with more convenient payment options. Since every payment counts towards building your credit history, we’re proud to make paying your balance even easier.

The flexibility you need to make ends meet

When it comes to managing your finances, flexibility can make or break your budget. That’s why Possible loan comes with payment flexibility: up to 29 days to move your payments out from the original payment due date, if you need to reschedule. We’re proud to offer this benefit on top of the fact that we never charge late payment fees or rescheduling fees.

Even more choices with additional payment methods

Now, you can add a debit card or bank account using just your card or account numbers—or link it with Plaid. That means you can have multiple payment options to pay off your Possible Loan on top of your default “Primary” bank account.

Easily organize payment methods in the app

When you link an account with Plaid, it’s eligible to become your “Primary” account and be used for future applications. Plus, you can add additional payment methods, too. And you’ll see everything at a glance in your “Account Management” tab in the Possible app:

Payment methods Q&A

“So, can I use Chime?”

One of the most requested features from our community has been the ability to use Chime accounts with Possible. Now we’re proud to offer you the choice to use a Chime account (or any debit card or bank account number) as an additional payment method. That means now you can use Chime to pay off your balance. While your Chime account can’t be linked with Plaid to set as Primary and use for applications and more, we’re listening—and we’re pleased to offer this benefit.

“Wait, what’s a Primary account?”

Every Possible Loan has a Primary connected bank account that’s linked with Plaid. That’s because as part of your application process, your paycheck deposits, cash flow, and transactions help you get approved.

Thanks for choosing Possible as your financial partner. We’re dedicated to benefitting your financial health and helping you make ends meet. 🟦
